In cooperation with Berlingske Nyhedsmagasin, Danish Management Board grants the annual Management Award (in Danish: Konsulentprisen) to the best consulting project of the year. We do so in order to establish how the co-operation between customer (private or public) and consultant may add to the development of both the company and society as a whole.

The projects may be divided into six categories:

1. Strategy and business development 
2. Organisation and management development 
3. IT 
4. Production management and efficiency 
5. Sales
6. Analyses and economics

The objectives of the Management Award are:

• to focus on empathy, knowledge sharing, and good relations between client and consultant as prerequisites for the best consultancy and lasting results for the client
• to emphasize management and business development at the highest possible level, thus making visible the contribution of the consulting trade to Danish business and economics
• to disseminate information on the factors that will create the best possible framework for a fruitful co-operation between consultant and client
